MINUTES
of Endless Mountains Pennsylvanians for Human Life Meeting
(a local chapter of the Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation)
September 8, 2011
Time: Came to order at 7:32 PM by chairman, J Kershner.
J Kershner offered prayer.
Location: “41 Room,” Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro.
Attendance: 6
Minutes: Of July 14, 2011 were approved as presented.
Matters of Business:
- Finances
Balance: $1,490.82 — we thank God for a healthy balance, which includes a recent donation by Community of Grace Fellowship from their yard sale (proceeds of $676.75), plus other donations [see below].
- Endless Mountains Pregnancy Care Center (EMPCC)
Handed out their recent newsletter.
They are having their Fall Banquet on Sat. Sept. 24, 6 PM; perhaps some of our group can go.
- Baby Bottle fund raisers
Another $36.26 came in from Crossroads.
- Harrisburg Office
Handed out “Chapter Focus” newsletter for July/August.
- Literature tables at local fairs
Tioga County Fair (Wed. - Fri., August 10-12): a total of 7 individuals or couples / families volunteered for this effort over the three days. A total of $46.58 in donations were received. All seemed to go well; the “Baby Rose” flip-book was a big hit.
Workers want the following materials & handouts to be available for next year’s efforts at our table: 1. Fosse testimony; 2. breast cancer leaflets; 3. “forgiveness” from abortion tracts; 4. fetal-development cards; 5. cards with EMPfHL’s web site information; 6. plastic 12-week fetal models (to be handed out discreetly).
Note that we probably should order 25-35% more materials for 2012’s tables in order to have enough: had little left on the last two days of the county fair.
- Other

Next meeting: Thursday, October 13, 2011, at 7:30 PM.
Adjournment: At 8:42 PM.
Respectfully Submitted,
K Kershner, Secretary
