of Endless Mountains Pennsylvanians for Human Life Meeting
(a local chapter of the Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation)
October 13, 2011
Time: Came to order at 7:33 PM by chairman, J Kershner.
J Kershner offered prayer.
Location: “41 Room,” Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro.
Attendance: 6
Minutes: Of September 8, 2011 were approved as presented.
Matters of Business:
- Finances
Balance: $1,535.82.
- Endless Mountains Pregnancy Care Center (EMPCC)
Nothing new.
- Baby Bottle fund raisers
Nothing new.
- Harrisburg Office
Handed out “Chapter Focus” newsletter for Sept.
They have a new “Pro-life is Pro-Woman” brochure. Approved: 1) ordering 125 copies of the brochure, and 2) sending PPLF $100 toward expenses.
Noted the fall issue of “Lifelines,” which showed the leadership’s stops throughout Pennsylvania in April, including Mansfield.
- Literature tables at local fairs
The president needs to do inventory of what materials we have in storage and acquire additional materials for the 2012 fairs, so that we are better supplied.
- Other
Reports on Life Chains held Sun., Oct. 2: the Wellsboro chain had over 50 in attendance, and Mansfield had 7. Over 1,500 chains were held in the USA and Canada.
Monday, January 23, 2012, is the March for Life in Washington, D.C. Let us know about any bus plans from our county/area, so we can support this effort.
