  2. Endless Mountains Pregnancy Care Center (EMPCC)
    Nothing new.
  3. Baby Bottle fund raisers
Effort by Crossroads church brought in $174.06 in donations, with some still to be returned.
  4. Harrisburg Office
Handed out “Chapter Focus” newsletter for May
  5. Literature tables at local fairs
At May 7 NCA Yard Sale: got one name for our mailing/newsletter list.
    Outcome from Coal Festival, Blossburg:
    - Wed. (5/25) -- went fine, with one passerby who asked for statistics for abortions upon married women [stat. was 1 in 7 in PA for year 2007].
    - Thurs.(5/26): a big wind storm hit the fair c. 7PM -- thankfully, our workers from the Yocum family were unhurt, though very large pine trees came down & they had to run for cover. Thank the Lord that no one at fair was badly hurt! Because of this devastating storm, the remainder of the fair was canceled.
We had some minor losses & damage to our table and displays: e.g., S Cavagnaro will try to repair our EMPfHL banner; the lumber from the booth was destroyed, and so M. Strange will plan to construct another portable booth for 2012 fairs.
“July 4th” festival will be held in Mansfield on Sunday, July 3. A. Yocum has volunteered to man a partial pro-life booth for EMPfHL, along with other table displays from her church: agreed to let her use leftover materials from the Coal Festival for her effort there.
    Tioga County Fair (our booth on Wed. - Fri., August 10-12): need 2-4 shifts per day, covering 10AM to 9/10PM. Coverage so far: Wed.: setup & man table 10AM to 9PM - Kershners; Thurs.: 10AM to 9PM - Cavagnaros, R Lyle, & others from RCC’s ; Fri.: 10AM to 3/4PM - OPEN, & 3/4PM to 9PM - A Yocum.
  6. Other
R Lyle learned of a “Baby Rose” poster set which could easily be used at our tables. Agreed to purchase a set for $10.00.

Next meeting: Thursday, July 14, 2011, at 7:30 PM.
Adjournment: At 8:37 PM.

Respectfully Submitted,

K Kershner, secretary
