Time: Came to order at 7:35PM by chairman, J Kershner.
R Lyle offered prayer.
Location: Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro.
Attendance: 5
Minutes: Of March 11, 2010 were approved as presented.
Matters of Business:
- Finances
The treasurer reported a balance of $906.58
- Endless Mountains Pregnancy Care Center (EMPCC)
Nothing new.
- Baby Bottle fund raisers
Crossroads Fellowship has received back some of the bottles handed out to their congregation.
- Harrisburg Office
Handed out recent “Chapter Focus” newsletter.
PPLF has a new brochure addressing "Forced Abortions."
Noted advertisement of PPLF's banquet being held in Harrisburg, Oct. 19.
- Literature tables at local fairs
S Strange received the shipment of our pro-life hand out materials: cost $575.91
Table at New Covenant year sale - May 8 (Sat.): Strange/Kershner will set up, and the Kershners will man the table.
Table at Blossburg Coal Festival: May 26–29 (Wed.–Sat.): five shifts have tentatively been covered.
- Other
J DeFosse's pro-life testimony needs to be edited and approved by the president, so it can be put on our web site.
The DVD re: black abortion continues to be passed around.
Next meeting: Thursday, May 13, 2010, at 7:30PM (in conference room).
