Matters of Business:

  1. Finances
The treasurer reported a current balance of $1,569.51. Recent expenses: $395.01 for table handouts from Heritage House, and $26.48 for plastic totes. Received $29.19 in donations at Yard Sale.
  2. Endless Mountains Pregnancy Care Center (EMPCC)
    Nothing new.
  3. Baby Bottle fund raisers
    Nothing new.
  4. Harrisburg Office
Handed out latest “Chapter Focus” newsletter.
Noted that M. Ciccocioppo, Executive Director of our parent group, PPLF, came to Mansfield’s Holy Child RCC and gave a good presentation on 4/21 about stem cell research.
It was noted that PPLF is in considerable financial distress and hasn’t been able to publish their latest Lifelines. Approved to give $200 to help the Harrisburg office with these expenses, plus to help toward costs of literature they provided to us.
  5. Literature tables at local fairs
May 9 at New Covenant Yard Sale: went well. Used materials from Heritage House and literature from PPLF as handouts. Plastic tote boxes were bought & of great use there.
