December 10, 2009
Time: Came to order at 7:40PM by chairman, J Kershner.
J Kershner offered prayer.
Location: Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro.
Attendance: 6
Minutes: Of November 12, 2009 were approved as presented.
Matters of Business:
- Finances
The treasurer reported a balance of $1,582.49.
- Endless Mountains Pregnancy Care Center (EMPCC)
Note that this group will be doing the baby bottle fundraising from Jan. to March of 2010.
- Baby Bottle fund raisers
See 2. above, as this could potentially be a conflict for any proposed fundraising for our group at that time of the year.
- Harrisburg Office
Handed out "Chapter Focus" newsletter for November.
- Literature tables at local fairs
Nothing new.
- Other
> R Lyle got the DVD [abortions of black babies] from Life Dynamics. The Cavagnaros will view it first, and then pass it around to others.
> March on Washington, DC, Fri., January 22, 2010.
The closest bus available will be sponosred by a Gang Mills, NY, group. Some of the buses they reserve are available to stop in Mansfield, since we are on their way south on Rt. 15. Cost will be $40/person, and must get in money to reserve a seat.
> The chairman mentioned that if anyone would have time to put together a newsletter, he could supply some input and suggestions — but doesn't have time now to take on a newsletter project himself.
> Re: the Manhattan Delcaration: a group of 184 conservative leaders signed this statement for the U.S. Congress, presenting concerns about human life, marriage, freedom, etc. visit the web site to sign it.
Next meeting: Thursday, January 14, 2010, at 7:30PM (in conference room).
