June 7, 2007
Time: Came to order at 7:31PM by chairman, J Kershner.
J Kershner offered prayer.
Location: Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro.
Attendance: 6
Minutes: Of 5-10-07 were approved as corrected.
Matters of Business:
- Finances
Treasurer S Strange reported a balance of $2,931.24, with a recent expenses of $23.75 for toy cradle [future display] and $68.07 for booth/lean-to materials [wood, tarps, hardware]. Income from donations: $6.12 @ NCA yard sale and $16.89 @ Coal Festival.
- Endless Mountains Pregnancy Care Center (EMPCC)
Nothing new.
- Baby Bottle fund raisers
Nothing new.
- Harrisburg Office
Handed out "Chapter Focus" newsletter.
- Literature tables at local fairs
a) notations about past fairs: The booth/lean to cover our table at fairs worked well to provide protection from rain and sun. The location, interaction, and handouts at both fairs' tables seemed to go fine. The cradle display was incomplete, but used anyway: hope to acquire the addition of 98 baby pacifiers [98 for the average number of babies aborted per day in PA] for use later in summer. Problem noted: need to get information about how to better clean the plastic/rubber babies for the fetal display [get quite grimy]. Could not man the table on Friday of the Coal Festival, but covered well the other three days.
b) upcoming fairs:
Tioga County Fair (Whitneyville): on the three community days, Wed. - Fri., August 8-10: began to schedule the six shifts to man it , needing two shifts per day, 10AM-4PM & 4PM to 10PM.

Noted some recent legislation and materials we might buy.
