of Endless Mountains Pennsylvanians for Human Life Meeting
(a local chapter of the Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation)
July 12, 2007
Time: Came to order at 7:33PM by chairman, J Kershner.
R Lyle offered prayer.
Location: Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro.
Attendance: 7
Minutes: Of 6-14-07 were approved as corrected.
Matters of Business:
- Finances
Treasurer S Strange reported a balance of $2,931.24 [same].
- Endless Mountains Pregnancy Care Center (EMPCC)
The chairman spoke with the new director, Shellie Gerould -- the Kershners are planning to meet her soon. She informed us of a few matters:
1) a sister affiliate with the PPLF of Bradford County has begun, and they'll have a literature table at the upcoming Troy Fair;
2) they'd welcome our help in transporting any women in crisis from our county to theirs, but didn't know of any right now;
3) their group would very much appreciate the donation of CPC-type New Testaments for handouts to their clients.
Moved, seconded and approved spending up to $200 to supply EMPCC with New Testaments for their ministry.
- Baby Bottle fund raisers
Grace Fellowship Orthodox Presbyterian Church of Mansfield is planning to begin their fund raiser this month.
- Harrisburg Office
Handed out "Chapter Focus" newsletter. Chairman got off a "thank you" to the Bakerburg Community Church for their fund raiser on our behalf.
- Literature tables at local fairs
Upcoming fair: the Tioga County Fair (Whitneyville) has three community days, Wed. - Fri., August 8-10: Tried to schedule for the six shifts to man our table.
Worked on the text for the new display.

Next meeting: Thursday, Sept 13, 2007, at 7:30PM (in board room).
NOTE: no August meeting, since we'll be at the fair.
