of Endless Mountains Pennsylvanians for Human Life Meeting
(a local chapter of the Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation)
March 10, 2005

Time: Came to order at 7:37PM by Chairman M Branciforte.
Location: Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro
Number in Attendance: 7
Minutes: Of 2/10/05 were approved as presented.

Matters of Business:

  1. The Treasurer reported a balance of $169.55.
  2. “Baby bottle” fund raising project: the Sabinsville churches and Trinity Lutheran Church (Wellsboro) are in process and going well. The Assembly of God Church (Wellsboro) wants to begin.
    Note that the recommended time limit for the bottles to be out in circulation is six weeks.
  3. Discussed again about the PPLF Education Convention for October, 2005, and the potential of fund raising. The convention’s glossy program will be considered as a “pro-life resource book” for a two year span (2005-2006), to be used throughout the state of Pennsylvania. Local advertisements obtained for this publication would return some money to local chapters (see 2/11 minutes). The best local prospects for this type of advertising are probably involved with the tourist industry, or offering wide-spread manufacturing or services.
    Note that our baby bottle fund raising and ads for the above resource book could possibly raise enough money to aid in funding of a local Real Alternatives staff worker.
  4. M Strange now has enough material for our next newsletter, including information on: the January March for Life, Real Alternatives in north central PA, and about EMPfHL and what we do.
  5. Discussed some current pro-life issues.
