of Endless Mountains Pennsylvanians for Human Life Meeting
(a local chapter of the Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation)
January 13, 2005

Time: Came to order at 7:35PM by Chairman Mario Branciforte.
Location: Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro
Number in Attendance: 6

Minutes: Of 12/13/04 were approved as presented.

Matters of Business:

  1. The Treasurer reported a balance of $175.55.
  2. Regarding the Guidance Center -- no official news of late.
  3. “Baby bottle” fund raising project: the Laboskys received labels for the bottles and will start at the Sabinsville churches. Trinity Lutheran Church (Wellsboro) is another possibility. We should inquire about other local churches, etc., which might be interested in helping with this project.
  4. The March for Life in Washington, DC, Monday, January 24: Some EMPfHL members are going by bus with the Susquehanna Pro-Life group (Williamsport). The Tioga County Catholic Deanery is sponsoring a bus staying overnight on Sunday. This event could supply material for a pictorial article for our next newsletter.
  5. Other current events about Christian morality were discussed.

Next meeting: Thursday, February 10 at 7:30PM, in new room -- boardroom (rather than education room).
