of Endless Mountains Pennsylvanians for Human Life Meeting
(a local chapter of the Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation)
April 14, 2005

Time: Came to order at 7:42PM by Chairman pro tem M Strange.

Location: Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro
Number in Attendance: 4
Minutes: Of 3/10/05 were approved as presented.

Matters of Business:

  1. The Treasurer reported a balance of $580.94. We are thankful for the proceeds of $434.39 from the recent “baby bottle” fund raising at the Sabinsville area churches!
  2. Noted an article from World magazine (4/9/05) where Real Alternatives of PA was mentioned.
  3. Received “ad slicks” from the National Right to Life (NRL): cost was higher than expected ($20 instead of $10), plus the quality is not as good as expected.
  4. M Strange showed us drafts of the pending newsletter. Discussed its content.
  5. Upcoming fairs & literature tables:
    1- K Kershner has reserved a table at the New Covenant Academy yard sale in Mansfield, on 5/7. She is asking for helpers to work from about 10AM to 2PM.
    2- Tioga County Fair (August) in Whitneyville. Need planning soon.
    3- Harvest Festival (October) in Wellsboro.
