MINUTES
of Endless Mountains Pennsylvanians for Human Life Meeting
(a local chapter of the Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation)
May 10, 2004

Time: Came to order at 7:35PM by Chairman Mario Branciforte.

Location: Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro
Number in Attendance: 12

Minutes: Of 4/12/04 were approved as corrected.

Matters of Business:

  1. Feedback was received about the distribution of the pro-life voter guides. These were well received by most all of the targeted churches. In the future we may want to check into bulk mailing rates.
  2. Table at New Covenant Academy’s annual yard sale on May 1: were some positive responses and $6.00 donated.
  3. The Guidance Center is up and going in Mansfield -- we hope to have Kimberly Slusser attend one of our meetings soon.
  4. The Treasurer reported a balance of $260.60.
  5. Possible tables at upcoming summer fairs:
    * Liberty Blockhouse Fair -- June
    * Farm City Day -- July
    * Tioga County Fair -- August: this one is a repeat of our attendance at 2003 Fair; will likely go for the three-day stint; will not do videos this year; will do changing table; will need a display sign (had a volunteer to make one); and may possibly purchase a new, soft set of the prenatal babies for display on the table.
  6. The Executive Committee of the northeastern PA region of PPLF will meet in Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday, May 18. Our chairman plans to attend.
