of Endless Mountains Pennsylvanians for Human Life Meeting
(a local chapter of the Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation)
March 8, 2004

Time: Came to order at 7:35PM by Chairman Mario Branciforte.

Location: Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro
Number in Attendance: 13

Minutes: Of 2/9/04 were approved as presented.

Matters of Business:

  1. Treasurer’s report: balance is $149.40 with recent gifts.
  2. Our chairman has received a letter from the Executive Director of PPLF, Michael Ciccocioppo, that our group is now been officially recognized as a chapter of the statewide PPLF.
  3. Discussed the pro-life voter guides for the 4/27 PA Primary Elections: plan to distribute 1,500 copies at area churches and via our next newsletter.
  4. M Strange is looking for brief articles or material for articles for the next newsletter, which will focus on the Primary Election. Also, he is encouraging us to submit material for future issues.
  5. M Strange has started a basic web site for the local chapter at: www.empfhl.org. Email is to be sent to <news at EMPFHL>.
  6. Saturday May 1 is the date for New Covenant Academy’s annual yard sale: we are okayed for a table, and so we will need people to man it that day.
  7. Other possible future events include: Blossburg Coal Festival, Tioga County Fair, (Tioga-Bradford) Farm-City Day, Potter County Fair. We are still contemplating a food item or other items for sale at coming fairs.
  8. Voter registration forms were distributed.
