of Endless Mountains Pennsylvanians for Human Life Meeting
(a local chapter of the Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation)
August 9, 2004

Time: Came to order at 7:39PM by Chairman Mario Branciforte.
Location: Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro
Number in Attendance: 10
Minutes: Of 7/12/04 were approved as presented.

Matters of Business:

  1. The Treasurer reported a balance of $251.60.
  2. Information re: fall elections: Pro-life senatorial candidate Jim Clymer (Constitutional Party) had enough signatures to be put on the ballot.
    Heard about the Democratic & Republican national platforms.
    All should urge pro-life people to make sure they are registered to vote.
  3. Regarding upcoming fairs:
    * Tioga County Fair (August 11-13): We have ready the literature, display panels, baby model sets (2), and the tables.
    * Fall Harvest Festival -- We are registered to be there 9AM to 5PM on Sat., October 2 in Wellsboro. Along with free literature to hand out, baked goods will be sold -- S Maneval will coordinate this.
  4. We plan to order our first batch of 75 bottles for our “baby bottle” fund-raising project, distributing them to one of the county’s Catholic churches.
  5. Kim Slusser of the Guidance Center gave us literature from her organization to hand out at the fairs. As for a newspaper interview, we will need to contact Luann Grieneisen about this.
