of Endless Mountains Pennsylvanians for Human Life Meeting
(a local chapter of the Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation)
September 8, 2003

Time: Came to order about 7:45PM by Chairman Mario Branciforte.

Location: Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro
Number in Attendance: 5
Minutes: Of 8/11/03 were available, but not approved.

Matters of Business:

  1. Discussed future fairs, etc., for our chapter’s booth. Learned that the four Wellsboro fairs [these are Laurel, Harvest, Dickens & Mary Wells fairs] only allow “selling booths” (for food & crafts). Therefore, if we want to participate we’d need come up with a food or craft item to sell along with distributing literature. Cost at the Harvest fair is $50 for a booth.
    Will inquire re: New Covenant’s craft show for the possibility of a booth there.
  2. Luann Grieneisen of Real Alternatives is scheduled tomorrow, 9/8, to check three possible locations available for this group’s base: one in Wellsboro and two in Mansfield.
  3. Reminder to promote the Life Chains to be held 10/5 in a few of the county’s towns.
  4. Our Treasurer, Susan Strange, reported on several items: she has applied online and received an E.I.N. for our group; our checking account is at Northwest Savings with a total of $120.00 in the account; there will be a $3/month service charge.
